A Promise to Raise Your Child to Know and Follow Jesus
A parent child dedication is a public commitment. You stand before your church family and promise to raise your child to know, love, and follow Jesus, and River Valley promises to walk with you. It’s a celebration of the gift God has given your family and a step of faith you take together.
Dedication isn’t baptism. It follows the example of Hannah, who brought her son Samuel before the Lord and gave him back to God (1 Samuel 1:27–28). Sign up so we can be ready for your family on October 25.
